Christopher Borello Everwine, 65, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of the late Peter and Katharine Lammers Everwine.
He retired from the Leo Burnett Advertising Agency in Chicago where he served as Creative Director for 22 years.

“His talent as a writer [and musician] was extraordinary. But his kindness, humanity and unfailing good humor made him truly special. A humble man who made all of us better for having known him.” – Bob Dreveny

Chris studied at the University of Oregon and was a huge fan of the Oregon Ducks. He loved his dogs, going for hikes and walks in the woods, and reveled in the beauty of the world around him. Chris had an incredible joie de vivre and enjoyed good wine, great food, and even better company. He had the kind of good humor that always made you belly laugh, and was a great story-teller. Chris was a fantastic guitar player throughout his life, playing with various bands over the years. After his retirement he played nearly every day and wrote wonderful music with his band Stealing Peaches.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Terri Blake Everwine; his daughter, Leah Everwine of Chicago, Illinois; a brother, David Everwine and his wife Jackie of Fresno, California; his nephew, Chase Everwine of Costa Mesa, California and several cousins.
A private service will be held at the home.
