Willie Randall LeVar, 88, of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. He was a son of the late Robert J. and Nettie B. LeVar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Van LeVar and Wendell LeVar: sister, Lanett LeVar Quick.

He graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth Texas with a business degree. He proudly served our country in the U.S Air Force from 1960-1980, serving in San Antonio, Texas; Austin, Texas; Fort Worth, Texas; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Biloxi, Mississippi; and Atwater, California. Overseas he served in Belgium, The Philippines, Crete, Vietnam and Japan. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant.

After retiring from the Air Force, he was a substitute teacher at Tuxedo Elementary School. He was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 66 years, Pearl A. King LeVar; two sisters-in-law, Mary LeVar, and Clara LeVar; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 1:30 pm Thursday December 12, 2024, at Refuge Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family has entrusted Jackson Funeral Service with the arrangements.
