Perry Joe Morgan, 85, lifelong resident of Henderson County, went to be with the Lord on Monday December 7, 2020 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Myra June Hill Morgan to whom he was married for 64 years, his children Stewart Morgan, Mark Morgan, Susan Morgan Benoit, and John Morgan. He is also survived by his twin brothers Wayne Morgan of Roebuck, SC and Wynn Morgan and wife Shirley, of Horse Shoe, NC. He has five grandchildren – Chris Benoit, Damian Morgan, Jackson Morgan, Michael Benoit, and Zoe Morgan. Perry was the son of Robert Morgan and Elizabeth Byrd Morgan of Etowah, NC.
Perry was employed by Ecusta in Pisgah, NC for 45 years.
He was an avid sportsman and attended the First Baptist Church in Hendersonvillle.
A private graveside service will be held to celebrate his life. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org.
