Eugenia Williams Barber, 81, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 16, 2021.
She was a daughter of the late Lathe R. Williams and Irene Jackson Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Monroe Heatherly, Jr and her brother T.C. Williams.
Eugenia was the Valedictorian of the 1957 graduating class of Etowah School.
She is survived by a daughter, Gwen Doran and her husband Eddie; a sister, Juanita Brogden and her husband Roy; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Heatherly; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Eugenia’s grandson-in-law James McCrory will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in The Chapel in The Pines at Jackson Funeral Service, Hendersonville.
