Deborah Jackson Cranford, age 71, of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025.
Deborah was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, on September 8, 1954, to the late Phyllis Mae Laughter Jackson and Paul Eugene Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Claude Stephen Cranford, and her grandson, Bryce Preston Cranford.
She was a graduate of Edneyville High School, Class of 1974. Deborah worked as a home seamstress and was employed at Manual Woodworkers and Weavers. She had a special gift for baking cakes and sewing outfits and handmade items for her friends and family. Above all, Deborah cherished time spent with her family and created many treasured memories with them. She also loved attending the Rod Run with her family, a tradition she truly enjoyed.
Deborah is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Coggins and husband Adam Coggins, and Samantha Phillips and husband Scott Phillips; grandchildren, Michelle Coggins, Kayden Phillips, and Gabe Phillips; step-grandchildren, Tyler Coggins and Ryan Coggins; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Coggins, Grace Carver, and Rylee Coggins; her twin sister, Deedee; sister, Martha; and her older brother, Tony.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, in the Chapel in the Pines at Jackson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Mountain Home Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend.
