Genny Rebecca Hancock, born December 22, 1971, passed away on December 27, 2025. She was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and died in Brevard, North Carolina.
Genny was a graduate of Presbyterian Nursing School and Rhema Bible College. An exceptional nurse, she devoted her life to caring for others with compassion, skill, and unwavering dedication. Nursing was more than a profession to her—it was a true reflection of her heart and calling. Through her work, she touched countless lives, offering comfort, healing, and hope.
Genny was a devoted lover of Yeshua, and her faith guided every aspect of her life—her service, her relationships, and her love for those around her. As part of her commitment to serving others, she participated in several foreign mission trips, sharing care and compassion across borders.
She also had a deep and abiding love for animals, finding joy, peace, and companionship in their presence.
Genny is survived by her mother, Carole; her brother, Jonathan; and her sister, Gabrielle. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched, both professionally and personally.
A small family service is planned at the gravesite at Oakdale Cemetery. Genny will be deeply missed and forever loved.
