Roger I. Myrto passed away December 24, 2020 in Mills River, NC at the age of 84. He was born in Syracuse, NY in 1936.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Lawrence Myrto; sons, Glenn of Holly Springs, NC., and Jay of Fayston, Vt.; daughter, Janet Richards and husband Tony of Mattydale, NY; granddaughters, Heather, Samantha, Katie and husband Matt, Kelly and Miranda.
He retired from Niagara Mohawk Power Corp in 1992 after 35 years. Roger loved golfing and fishing with his friends and family. He was an active member of the Liverpool Fire Department for several years. He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of The Henderson County Crafters, participating in many craft shows. He volunteered with the North Carolina Baptist Men traveling to disaster relief areas and was a member of Etowah Baptist Church.
