Cremation is becoming a more popular service; for many families it is replacing traditional burial. Here at Jackson Funeral Service we have our own crematory located on site. Once your loved one is in our care, they are not transferred elsewhere. We even allow family members to be present at the start of the cremation, if you wish.

Direct Cremation
With minimum cardboard container: $2464
With container provided by purchaser: $2299
Above prices include:
- NC Authority Fee
- Minimum services of funeral director and staff
- Transfer of remains to funeral home (within 20 miles radius)
- Cremation process
Additional Services
- Pacemaker removal: $250
- Medical Examiner Authorization Fee (if applicable): $50
- Cremations process including NC Authority Fee: $350
Optional Cremation Selections
- After hours or weekend cremation additional: $300
- Viewing on a bed without embalming: $550
- Limited to 1/2 hour and 15 people during normal business hours.
- Direct burial of cremated remains (local): $715

The Authorization for Cremation form is available to view and download in PDF format. This document can often be printed directly from a browser. If downloading and saving to your computer, use a program such as Adobe Reader to open and print the document.
If this form is not signed in front of a funeral director, you will need two witnesses. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
